Found this excellent Soviet textbook (pre-revisionist) for political economy, so I thought I'd share it here so people can have a read and discuss it's contents.

That's awesome. What a gold mine.

Not sure how authoritative it is. Here's the opening of chapter 3:

The feudal system existed, with particular features of one sort or another, in almost all countries.

Not sure how authoritative it is. Here's the opening of chapter 3:

I guess it depends on how one defines "feudalism". There is considerable debate among medievalists as to the validity of the term at all. Individual experts of various medieval societies all look at the term and say it doesn't quite fit the society they study.

I'll ask around the department for some articles in the morning.

We started a discussion about feudalism here:

The text linked in the OP seems to be an adapted version of Das Kapital, with no visible gains in clarity.

Im puzzled by this comment, it seems very differently structured than Capital

Luis it seems is quite anti-Marxist, although he makes it seem subtle.

I've got the "Political Economy of the Soviet Union vol3" in greek and the chapters etc etc seem very much the same with this book in the link. But my vol3 stuff is Khruschev era so I guess the book from the link is older (since you say is pre-revisionist).

It's 1954 actually, a few months after Stalin's death, but it's well before the tumor of revisionism set in.
