Funny...all of the right wing radio hosts are hopping mad that generally moderate Republican Mike Huckabee and liberal Republican John McCain have taken the first two primaries over establishment Republicans like Rudy Gulliani, Fred Thompson, and Mitt Romney.
Apparently, because New Hampshire Republicans vote a little more liberal they chose McCain, and in Iowa the Christian base voted for Huckabee. And it has all of the right wing hosts up in arms. Funny...really funny.

I've had a look at a few polls from America and the Republicans seem extremely divided, whilst the Democrats tend to have three very strong candidates, which means that a Democrat will probably win in November.

LOL, McCain... a "liberal" Republican!? The moron wants to nuke Iran FFS. He is an extreme pro-establishment Republican. Hukabee wants to 'double Guantanamo' in capacity, he is not a moderate.
Republican and Democrat are not labels that one should slap onto someone as left and right, they're both equally as responsible for the historic plight of workers internationally
, and both equally as reactionary when it comes to social issues, privatisation, and especially suppressing worker's movements worldwide. Calling them "liberal" "moderate" or "conservative" Dems/Republicans serves as a smokescreen from their true agendas, that of serving the bourgeois.
Sorry, not trying to be hostile (I know you're(RR84) not talking about this stuff), I just dislike that kind of categorization and felt the need to point it out to everyone.

John McCain a liberal? LOL! The last time I checked liberals were against being in Iraq and the Patriot Act and don't kiss Bush's ass.

Well I mean that for GOP standards, i.e. Right Wing radio standards, Huckabee and McCain are Moderate Republicans.
Remember that these are the people that think the Clintons are Left Wing Socialists, so you can see where these freaks stand on issues like who is conservative or not.

No surprise. Romney and Giuliani are much more in their objective interests, particularly Giuliani. McCain and Huckabee share a lot with them, but are way too much "left field" candidates, whom they do not expect to appeal to their entire base. So no wonder they're pissed off.

But the people, or atleast their base have spoken and they want these two candidates. McCain appeals to the more moderate-liberal Republican and Huckabee appeals to the Christian crowd because he is not totally a "screw the poor" Wall Street type Repug.
The frikin' radio hosts are gripping because he increased social spending and offered education to the kids of illegal immigrants! What the heck!? Do they expect candidates to be totally Satanic in how they deal with the public but Angelic and generous with the private sector? It floors me how anyone could just even suppor this Party.
I mean serioulsly who campaigns for public office on the platform that government should get out of the way and that its corrupt and inefficient! Who would vote for a guy like that? I thought we were the government! A government of the people and these Repugs ask us to step aside?
Sorry to rant.
