Hi, I'm a 16-year-old living in Guelph (in Canada, near Toronto).

I've had a crazy last... 8 months maybe, or so. All kinds of complicated personal problems, and depression, much of it totally sensible really, and also all kinds of tricky political crises.

I've always been pretty political, and interested, but lately it's been pretty extreme. And I have severe class identity issues, not at all unrelated to the craziness and confusion and hell of the last while. And I'm desperately seeking political community, people whom I find sensible and decent and active, and not horrible and cruel and hypocritical and apathetic, as "mainstream" basically seems to be.

So hopefully I'll find something valuable here.

hi...hi...hi...and welcome to the forum...so what kind of political ideology that you interested in? (i suggest..Anarchism :) )Well it's not like I have a Book and say "this is what I believe in". I happen to agree with/am influenced by, let's see, I almost always agree with Noam Chomsky, though I think he's a bit too conservative... I happen to philosophically agree a lot with Sam Harris, even though I don't agree with too many of his practical conclusions... Derrick Jensen affected me quite a bit.

I basically try to figure out what I can about the world. In terms of what I'm interested in... the environment, political economy/class issues, intellectual culture, sexual/gender culture, art politics, those are probably the main things I can think of off the top of my head.
