Hello all. As you can see I'm new to the forums and would like to ask another question.
While arguing with anti-Chavez right-wingers on the Internet, I often encounter the argument that Venezuela's economy is unhealthy because basic staples (black beans, powdered milk, etc.) are in short supply and long lines / queues form to buy food. How does one counter these claims? I'm under the impression that the agricultural sector is under control of the bosses and private forces and they are deliberately making woes here to protest Chavez's policies and threats to their profits. Wondering what can be /will be done to alleviate the food situation.
