And yes, I consider Hussein to have been a puppet dictator. Look who brought him to power and at who armed and funded for years...USA + Western Europe.

It's pretty obvious that a stable government is going to be able to provide more food and such to the people than one set up after an invasion at an unstable period in said history of the government.

the Iraqi system is now just a new capitalist oppotunity for them to exploit,
i think that a massive issue is the activities and the very use of 'Blackwater' and other such mercs,
food for oil was a sham, so was the justification of the war, and the actions of the forces their now e.g. falluga (sp?) and abu grabe prision (sp?),
which goes to show that the american leadership sure dont give a flying fuck about the people of Iraq
