... you definetly should have a banner!!
Mine will probably read: "Bush... you may want the world, but the world doesn't want YOU!!", unoriginal maybe, but i like to think in terms of solidarity:biggrin:

I got a big piece of canvas about 4m long and .9m wide. Because I dont have a sewing machine and only have needles and thread, I folded over the sides of the fabric and made a kind of seam with safety pins to stop the fraying. I got eyelets from a camping shop so I could attatch the poles to the banner which were just screws with hooks on them. Hope you get the idea, it cost $26 (about 12 pounds maybe) in materials (not including paint) to make the banner took about an hour and paitning it took about 4hours.
Peace.
"Who needs Germany and France when you can have Ubekastan as a friend?"
do I see some social chauvinism here EXPOLITEDCLASS?
Some green people or hippies had one that said: "more trees, less bush"
Some young guys had "Bush = ****"
Someone had "nuke Saddam, he deserves it" nearly resulted in him being smashed by an afghani guy.
Although capitalist imperialism is the real enemy not some guy with half a brain squating in the white house :P
I was on a megaphone a while back saying
"George Bush kick him in the head, we want the bakery not the bread"
Some guy confronted me about promoting violence on a peace march, we said it was anti-war not a peace march.
and
"No faith in Helen Clark, the Labour Party fuckin sucks"
Helen is the Labourite Prime minister on New Zealand.
"Who do we back? Go Iraq!"
"Long Live the Iraqi Armed Resistance!" a comrade of mine had that in Wellington also had a pic of an AK47 on it.
Peace Out.

Axis of evil: Bush, Blair and Sharon.
The Radical Elf
23rd May 2003, 01:17
I have several signs that I like. My favorite one says "Bush, Blair, Sharon - The Asses of Evil" and has an upside down American flag. At a protest a few weeks ago, a Zionist accosted me and told me about how great Sharon was and that I shouldn't have included him in the axis.
I also have one that says "Capitalism Kills" with the peace, anarchy, and eglatarianism signs on one side and on the other side, "Those that do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it" with a picture of Hitler and Mussolini, the Reichstag Fires, German planes bombing Poland, a German tank in Poland, and a Nazi flag to the left of the text and to the right, a picture of Bush and Blair, the WTC collapsing, an American plane flying over Iraq, an American tank in Iraq, and an American flag.
Sadly, that sign was accidentally mutilated by my friend a few weeks ago.

Drop Bush, not bombs was a great chant. Most of the chants in Lincoln sucked, though. The protesters were mostly a bunch of old, graying hippies. The protest in Omaha had a bunch of anarchists, though. In Omaha, I got to chant WHAT DO WE WANT? CLASS WAR! and not be the only one saying it.
