An interesting website worth perusing, either
A: If you know Russian
B: Are like me, and use Altavista Babelfish to translate the website and get the general gist of the material.
And there are lots of interesting materials: Information on the purges, collectivization, the details of the Red Army before and during the Great Patriotic War. The Russian edition of Stalin's Collected Works (there are even more volumes than on Marx2Mao) can be found here. And documents released from the Soviet archives, as well as a section titled "Myths and Falsifications."
Really an eye-opener, and gives an alternative perspective on Soviet history than what you usually get in Western circles.
