Some people watch the supoerbowl for the ads...ha ha ha. That's pathetic, what a mess the world is.

See, it's a subversive plot not only to make US citizens fervent nationalists and blind abiding sheep, but foreign countries as well -- That way when they say "We're going to War." Everyone is cheering, waving the flags, drinking out of the keg (eeek, backwash, that's a NO-NO!) and running bets on which team - will win. Iraq or the US? (and their at last count 9 allies) I bet they could get the Superbowl to kick off the first shot of the war.

Please....... RESIST & PREVAIL

tie your hands up with rope or wear a blindfold... But DO NOT WATCH THE SUPER BOWL!

I am a big campaingner for the Boycott (take a look at my thread in Chit Chat) I will certainly be doing this. Anway it's shown at about 3 in the morning for about 4 hours of almost certain ass stuck to seat bordom.

I don't know, it's just a thought. I didn't watch it because I am not a big football fan but I can't say that watching the game is going to make me into a blind abiding fervent nationalist. Well, the NBA all Star Game is on tomorrow night, and I am going to watch it. Hopefully the national anthems won't be broadcast, but I have every intention of standing up and singing along regardless.

Do they play the Canadian national anthem before the Super Bowl? They do before the All Star Game.
