These were all taken by a disposable camera, the cheap ones with no flash on them, so keep that in mind ;)
this first picture was taken when we got off of the bus. the "Axis of Evil" thing had bush on it, as well as cheney, powel, rice, and ashcroft.

this is a picture of a group of people that, i think, were meditating off of the stage that people were speaking on prior to the beginning of the march, near Embarcedero

This picture didnt come out the way i wanted it to. The lady in the bottom right corner of the picture was what i wanted to emphasize, but it didnt turn out. she was about 85 years old, wrinkles pouring off of her face and hands, with eyes and a smile that made me want to cry. she had a huge anti-war on iraq poster on her front and back, tied around her neck. this picture also shows the diversity that takes place in peace marches.

this picture was taken prior to the beginning of the march from a slightly higher than ground level view. it is taken from the end of the marchers towards the front.

organizers estimated the crowd at 200,000. i will add more pictures when a friend i made there develops the 3 rolls she took, but ill only post the ones that i like, because i dont want to flood the forum with all of these pictures.
