I've just watched Aaron Russo's Freedom to Fascism (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1656880303867390173) (click for video) and found it eye-opening in many respects. I have just now started to research on my own the assertions made in the film about the constitutionality of the US federal income tax. But I thought I'd put this question out there in case anyone wants to share info they've come across.

Is the US federal income tax in fact unconstitutional? Is it mandatory?

Maybe a hundred years ago you could have made a case for this, but the sixteenth amendment to the constitution states:

"The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

So clearly its not unconstitutional today.

That's a fairly very interesting video you posted. I am going to outright refuse the national id card.

As far the income tax is concerned, I think it definitely is unconstitutional. It's detrimental to the working person, in all honesty. It is not apportioned, like the movie shows. Obviously, a lot of power needs to be removed from these people. Actually, THEY need to be removed permanently. While I see this movie is promoting a nationalistic sentiment in people, I think it could be used to wake people up to the corruption of the select few bankers trying to run this world. If there is to be any border-less, one world anything we simply can't let it be run by these pigs. That's why we need to get on the ball here. Revolution seems like a far cry from America, and I've read many people say that it wouldn't even be in a pre-revolutionary state for another 30 years. I think that may just be 30 years to late. Perhaps I am being paranoid, or impatient, but I would hope that revolutionaries would be ready to resist this and everything they have planned whenever it comes.

Oh, and I REALLY DISLIKED that he showed a communist flag whilst talking about these pigs. They are NOT working towards anything like communism but something more feudal, tyrannical and sinister.
