First, what were the differences between Kautsky and Lenin in theory, and why was Lenin correct and Kautsky wrong (or was he?). If my understanding of the history is correct, Marx wrote the first volume of Capital only, right? Then he had planned two more volumes, but he died before he could finish writing them. Engels tidied up the second volume of Capital, but put it into two books (Capital 2 and 3). Then Engels explained to Kautsky (knowing he would soon die) the plan for the third volume, (Theories of Surplus Value) and then Kautsky put it into 3 books. Is this correct? If so, shouldn't Kautsky, not Lenin, have been the logical follow-up after Marx and Engels? What differences were there between Lenin and Kautsky?
Second, what would happen to the family under communism? What would it look like and why?
(books on these subjects would also be appreciated and read)
