too bad :(
I was marching between the DKP/KPD and FDJ blocks.
I had to get up at 5:30 because I went there with the DKP Hannover ( I'm not a member of the party yet, just a sympathizer, and they were the only organization that went their and had really cheap fares, 20 Euros incl. return ). Luckily we arrived 1 hour early.
It was my first big demo and I think I already made some new friends there, the police of Berlin. They searched me for about 15 minutes, they searched my backpack, trousers, Jacket, everything. By accident they found a pack of very small firecrackers in the front pocket of my backpack, which I forgot there on new years eve, and immediately called for backup... "0375 achtung, fordern dringend Verstärkung an, verdächtige Person wird jetzt an Bürgersteig verbracht..." *About 15 policemen were standing in a circle around me just because of box of firecrackers. Funny people...
Edit: I forgot to answer your question, because it took us more then 3 hours to get there from Hannover :)

LOL, you had luck that the cops let you go away, without any more trouble...
I was there with a DKP (I'm not a member of them either) bus too, but we drove already on Staurday (from D'dorf), so I hadn't to get up that early.
I joined the Antifa bloc BTW. The only bloc I really could identify with.
