Yet further evidence that Mugabe is pathetic

So after deserved criticism from the German chancellor Angela Merkel, the leader of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, decides to play the race card (Who didnt see that one coming what with Merkel being German and all <_< ).

Never mind the fact that Merkel was born in "Socialist" East Germany&#33;

Mugabe is a politcal dinosaur who refuses to evolve which consequently has the adverse effect of destroying the people, through starvation, that he leads in Zimababwe.

What are your thoughts and opinions on this and the whole general issue of Mugabe and Zimbabwe?

I shall be interested to see how the comrades on this sight react to this news. Zimbabwe and Mugabe have been in the news a lot lately, since the situation in Zimbabwe has gotten progressively worse. I know Mugabe has a few supporters on this site, though. I would strongly encourage them to post.

As for me, I think he&#39;s a failure of a Marxist (But perhaps that is a misnomer to begin with, since no Marxist would display the racism and homophobia that he has) who has given the world one more reason to fear Marxism, not to mention another starving African country for the White Nationalists to point to and say, "There&#33; You see?&#33; Blacks cannot manage prosperous societies&#33; It is only when they are under the class rule of oppressive imperialist whites that they live well&#33;"

This is a little infantile to say especially from a president.

My opinion on Mugabe is that he has done some good things that are being overshadowed by his bad actions because they are really wicked.
Like he was right to take the land from the rich white farmers and give it back to the ones that were robbed by the aforementioned farmers.
But his homophobic, racist and often down right crazy acts overshadow it majorly.
