there are some decent opportunities at my local branch of "Current TV" station. they seem to want people who are knowledgeable of world events and up to date on news and how they tie in to every day life and stuff. The thing is.. I do that just for fun. Im always on like reading something and researching shit on my own for the sake of my personal growth and knowledge.

it be pretty sweet to get paid for actually doing this and I have a chance to show people some current events and how they effect us all. hmm. nice huh?

here's the thing.. on my resume.. how would I write down in a formal and professional manner that im pretty much an avid news reader and researcher?? know what I mean?

how can I make it look like a "skill" lol

thanks

I have recently aquired the analytical skill needed to reasearch current affairs effectivley; this can be atributed to my healthy interest in politcs on a local and international level.

Sorry its hard to suggest much, I dont really know enough about the job aplication etc.

You necessarily won't write that on your resume but in your cover letter.

like the comrade said, post some of your resume up and post the job description.

you could use proficient researcher, competent understanding of current affairs? something along those lines? just think of what you'd like to say about yourself, and think of better words to replace them. even use a thesaurus.

Taylor your interests to the job description. For example, given what you say they want, have an "Objective" section of your resume that reads something like:

Seeking an entry-level position that critically engages diverse points of views and makes use of in-depth analytical and investigative skills.

or some such bs.
