If I were in charge, all these lunatics would be sent to the same re-education centre as Pat Robertson and his cronies.

Hello comrade and friend: haha you are right indeed !! the mental illness of religion fundamentalism and terrorism is taking over CNN, most anchor CNN news shows now present news from a catholic world view, i mean CNN doesn't look like a news station anymore, but the Vatican station. I think it was Huckabee who was on CNN tonight, interviewed by the good old patriot and humanist Glen Beck. Huckabee said that his whole political program and economic systems will come from the Bible (not the jesus socialist part) but from the old testament and the oligarchic verses of New testament like "Obey your mother and father" or "Give cesar what belongs to caesar". And that he was talking about the importance of "praying on your knees" to God while bombing and mass-mudering other nations. How good and father figure, christian guy that Huckabee is. Like Ronald Reagan a father figure Brady Bunch next door guy

It has relatively little to do with religious fundamentalism, it is about perceived Western invasion of their culture and traditions. It is highly unlikely that events such as the teddy bear case and the cartoon riots would happen if they did not perceive their religion and culture to be under attack by an invading force.
