When will people like us stop talking and actually do stuff? besides protesting and not buying nike and pissing off old people. i want to change the world, we need to start organizing. if communism doesent work its because we dont make it work.

If we were to have a revolution now, we would be crushed. It would be a vanguardist revolution which will never work. At the moment we are just revolutionising our minds, spreading ideas, waiting for the match to be lit.

What exaclty do you mean by organising though? If you want to be organised you should join a Communist or Socialist political party, or a demo group like the WOMBLES or something. Although Fightinthe Police on the streets generally gets socialism and anarchy a bad name... but it does show devotion to the cause and lets the world know what is going on behind the propaganda.

The best way right now is to try and spread the ideas and ideals around, get people on your side. Eventually we won't need a revolution...

Those are nice thoughts but a true revolution would be won with sweat and blood. Do you think the americans would allow a peaceful revolution? no, not if it threatened their intrests(which a real revolution would)

As long as we sit around talking and dont act we are right were the capitalists want us.

If we have a violent revoltution the aftermath will be too chaotic and the capitalists will soon regain control. We have to be patient, I know it burns but it's the only way we can have a true effect, we need strong foundations to build the mighty house that is a true socialist society.

I'd hate to sound ignorant, but should we do?

I'm as enfused as the next Che enthusiast to continue the revolution, but I'm not sure where to start...

To organize a true revolution there has to be some sort of leadership, or a VERY highly organized society that all works in almost the exact same way. That is why we saw the rise of the Soviet Union. They had a Lenin, unlike the rest of Europe. Italy is a prime example. They spent their oppurtunity unorganized, fighting eachother, and got no where.

The problem with having these professional revolutionaries is that it goes against the idea of classlessness. But until we begin the creation of a truly organized, serious opposition, we are going to have to rely on those that take charge, the leaders, and hope that they aren't doing it for the wrong reasons (power). That's just my thought on the whole issue anyway..

Also, if we are to do this, why do we divide our socialist parties so greatly? Can't we create ONE party for similar beliefs worldwide? It seems to make more sense, and it would have a greater impact by the sheer number of members it would eventually gain. Not sure how we could organize such a thing, but it would certainly be helpful to the cause.

a "commie club" prehaps. it would be a good idea to start there but we cannot just discusss among ourselves, we would have to go out and get the spread the word, take the blindfold off and get more people in to start a cause
