this says that the CNE, the national electoral council, has declared the No vote victorious. well the actual wording is that the CNE has announced a victory for the No campaign, due to "a clear and irreversible trend"

Now, I do not know what this organisation is, can anyone tell me? Baduel, the defector, speaks for them.

it ether representes a slander campaign by the right, or is an admission of defeat by Chavez, or an outright lie by Globovision. why are only they saying this?

edit: CNE is part of the Venezuelan govt. http://www.cne.gov.ve/

I really hope this is not true, a victory for "No" would be such a boost to those scum.

Chavez himself seems to have recognized the results so far. :o

I am sure the reactionary fifth column, the bureaucracy, has had something to do with this crap. Keep your eyes sharp!

Could they have bought a ploy by Globovision to reap chaos though?

Remember Fox announcing Bush as the winner in 2000...these things happen.

EDIT: scrap that wishful thinkign above. telesur has admitted it:

Something here doesn't seem right......................

The social democrats of the United Socialist party at work???

So now Chavez till 2013 and then what???? The bureaucrats taking over.........

I guess this teaches us a lesson.......Marx, Lenin, etc WERE RIGHT.

You can't overturn it all using the system......there must be REVOLUTION.

The question now is............what will the proletariat of Venezuela do?????

The REVOLUTIONARY LEFT forces of Venezuela must prepare the people and make them realize that if THEY don't act, the BUREAUCRATS of the current government will take over.

It's true that the old ruling class may never be back in power....but the bureaucracy of the current government (which Chavez himself warned about to the people and he has been fighting them personally) will become the new ruling class and they will just create a capitalism that may not be AS friendly to the U.S............that is unless the democrats take the white house from the republicans.
