Hi,
[Background Info, skip to next paragraph if not interested]
I'm a filmmaker based in Vancouver, Canada, in the process of compiling information for a documentary on anarchism. Specifically the documentary focuses on the divide between most anarchistic doctrine and specific manifestations of anarchism in contemporary society and how anarchism is portrayed in the media and understood by the mass population. In order to do so. the premise of the film involves taking someone with a very typical, normative idea of what anarchism is and getting them to live with an anarchist community for a extended amount of time.
In order to do so I am looking to contact specific anarchist communities around Canada and the US. I was hoping someone here would have information regarding how i could locate and start a conversation with these communities.
