i defintitly agree that it should be monthly. I read on anti-capitalism.org that buy nothing day was the day after thanksgiving. I presume this is right because it is notoriusly the biggest shopping day of the year. So I bought nothing on that day. I also told all my friends about it. and there was a story in trhe washington post about it.
