Though it is not really our main concern, as he is a Capitalist politician after all, but Alistair Darling hardly seems unable to handle any task he is given. For example, although not directly his fault, members of his staff have caused this latest fuck up:

Details here (http://politics.guardian.co.uk/economics/story/0,,2214109,00.html)

What I really want to know is how long Mr. Darling will last in office and what effect his blunders will have on the working classes of Britain (and indeed the wider world, given Britain's global influence). Also will Darling's* fortunate mismanagement of economic issues act to heighten the as-of-now minor economic problems in the U.S.? And whether we can use this to our benefit?

Thanks :)

Why on earth was there such little security with this information? Surely they should have been a lot more careful than to just carry around the two CDs.

Exactly - it must at least have been backed up by hard copy and archived?! Does it make you think maybe any one of us (nearly 1 in 2) have had valuable details lost? I mean I need all the money I can get right now - the last thing I need is anything that could fuck that up, lol!

I presume that it was.
It seems that they just sent a copy of the information, not the only data they had of it.
The concern seems to be that all this personal information of all children in the UK could have wound up with absolutely anybody.
