But, make sure you listen to Mark Serwotka, PCS General Secretary:

interesting! is mark; one of ours or one of yours?
now i know, that young mark, is a big believer in the creation of a new workers party based in the working class, bringing in the rmt trade union and other trade unionists disillusioned with life in the "new labour" trade unions.
young mark wants a new workers party based on the interests of all workers, young mark believes in class politics rather than "minority"politics, common interest as against opportunism.
makes me wonder why the respect/swp even invited him to their conference!
or has the swp/respect done yet another swing from left to right and back again?
wanna really build a left alternative to new labour?
then accept the lessons of the past, there is nothing wrong with accepting a federalist position when creating a new and radical workers party, this was particularly successful in the creation of old labour.
and in todays world, it would enable the "anarchists" and "left communists" to engage in that party without fear of losing their political identity or control over their own future or propaganda. unity of interest would flow easily once fear of political oppression ( not quite the term i'm looking for) was removed.
funny how, "the sectarian party", as rosa describes them, are the biggest party within the pcs and are driving this campaign forward, whilst respect/swp are left as spectators applauding the efforts of an individual, rather than apllauding the political awareness of the pcs membership, as produced by years of "sectarian party" hard work.
i don't mean to be negative about you rosey, or the swp and respect, but, imho, you really need to get your act together, stop pretending you know it all, and recognise your comrades, in the "sectarian parties" actually have something top offer anbd you lot aint the fount of all political/leftist/marxist/trotskyist/whatever knowledge.
