I think that the best Jimi Hendrix song ever is "Purple Haze". And the reason for that is because of the way the electric guitar was played throughout the song by Jimi.

Personally, I've listened to Red House too many times, so it just doesn't have the spark it used too...and its fucking hard to play!

I voted other - Born Under a Bad Sign (Albert King cover I know :P ) is probably my favourite - he rocks out on the wah wah...makes it sound as if the guitar is screaming.

I also dig the long version of Voodoo chile - the 15 minutes one. Oh yeah, It's Too Bad is also bad. :redstar2000:

It's really hard to pick out a favorite song considering all of them are tremendously awesome to me.

But if I had to choose one it would be his version of Bob Dylan's All Along the Watchtower. That's so bad ass.
