Saturday 17 November 2007
1pm, outside the State Library of Victoria

This is our chance to peacefully heal the relationship with the African communities while also celebrating the differences that make Australia such a culturally rich and unique nation.

Everyone is welcome. This is going to be a peaceful event with community, political and spiritual leaders involved with students from Melbourne, Monash, Deakin and Latrobe Universities in organising this event.

This event celebrates the amazing mix of multiculturalism that Australians experience in everyday life. Speeches, music and dance will highlight the diversity of Australia.

What do you mean heal?
And why peacefully?
What happened should not be resolved by a peaceful walk around the block. IT needs to be confronted through organizing in these areas - particularly around Footscray area - to resist the racist attacks.

and why so much emphasis on peace?
