Thanks both of you! I had already browsed www.marxist.org a bit, and found both but what I'm really looking for is hardback copies that I can add to my bookshelf and carry with me, and stand the test if time.
-Thanks agian.

Oh! :o
I just have never seen the point of owning the Manifesto or Principles of Communism as they are fairly small, although are great summaries of what Marx and Engels supported...If you want them, why not print them?
I have seen copies though - none hardback.

You make a bloody good point on the size of the Principles, I Guess I was hoping for a Manifesto/Principles Combo Sweet-o Thing. The reason why I'm kinda going for a Book, is I'd like them in print, simply just for hard refrence.
I guess I'm a bit Old-Fashioned.
Oh yeah, Having no bloody printer is a good time.

My suggestion would be to get a book like Marx & Engels: Basic Writings on Politics and Philosophy, edited by Lewis S. Feuer.
This book is easy to understand, contains the Manifesto at least, and has about 30 of Marx's and Engels' writings. It is edited to focus on the main topics of a particular piece so you can 'get' what they are saying without having to wad through 500 pages of rambling to finally 'get it.'
If you can't get hold of this one, I am sure there are others of a similar nature.
And yeah, I do prefer books - try reading Capital off your computer screen and you will be asleep in 5 minutes.

Seem like I should? I'm tempted.

www.wellred.marxist.com has a wide range of left wing books, also a second hand section.

I have a book that include Principles of Communism, the Communist Manifesto, and an essay called The Communist Manifesto After 100 Years all together. It's pretty thick, with over 100 pages.
I would get one with more of their works however. Seems like you would get "more bang for your buck."

Both "Borders", and "Walden" bookstores should have it.
