They started showing this on BBCAmerica recently,I quite like it,a little cheesy sometimes,but overall pretty good.

I've never actually watched Torchwood, but I am a huge Doctor Who fan and would like to watch Torchwood at some stage in the future. Plus Jack Harkness seems extremely likeable.

By the way, what do you mean by cheesy? If it's anything like Doctor Who it doesn't take itself too seriously, so it's not so much cheesy as kitsch.

I don't watch Doctor Who but I have watched Torchwood a few times. I prefer it to DW because its slightly more realistic - I prefer sci-fi that blurs reality and fantasy,but DW is often too detached from reality (although thats just my opinion).
