Well, you can use Photoshop with WINE, according to their application database. It is supposed to be Platinum grade, so should work straight off, but I have never tried it. As far as I know however, there is no version of Photoshop that works natively in Linux.

For things that do work on Linux, the first two that spring to mind are, for raster graphics, the GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) and, for vector graphics, Inkscape.

There isn't

I'm pretty sure some versions of Linux e.g. ubuntu have GIMP already installed - but in ernest I've always found it to be inferior to photoshop... As for stuff like macromedia fireworks etc I wouldn't have a clue...

Try GIMP and Inkscape.

Also, check Distrowatch (http://distrowatch.com/) (find some suitable distribution) and http://appdb.winehq.org/ portal. I remember that Photoshop worked okay with Wine/Fedora.
