Four years after the "rose revolution" in Georgia that supposedly replaced a corrupt ex-Soviet bureaucrat with a freedom-loving, pro-Western liberal, what does the freedom-loving liberal do?

He sends the police to crack down on a peaceful protest similar to the one that brought him to power in the first place, he takes an opposition television station off the air and he declares a state of emergency:

The people who cheered this man are the same ones who hypocritically cry about Lukashenko and Chavez. Didn't Saakashvili supposedly get 96% of the votes last time? Is democratic!

Saakashvili is a good pro-democrat, for the open society! Do not dare to compare him with a blood-thirsty stalinist dictator like Chavez! :D

Chavez is not a Stalinist you BUM! he is a Trotskyist and a democratic leader, however the limits on his presidency have been removed so we have to watch this space...
