Ok i just thought of this.....

Im thinking of buying a book, "Wages, Price and Profit" and "Wage labour and Capital", and im not sure if they are worth reading. So has anyone read them, if so could you write a short paragrauph to review it for me and then ask for a book for someone else to review.

And in a while we should have a good thread on books to read!

We already have a Reading List thread here (http://www.revleft.com/index.php?showtopic=11920).

The Reading List thread that's pinned in this forum is a place to recommend books. :)

'fraid I can't help you with your original question though.

Edit: LZ, you suck. :P

Wage, Labour and Capital is a good book, I recommend it.
I don't know about Wage, Prices and Profit though, have not read it.
Regardless, I suggest reading it anyway! It'll always be of value to you.

Slow on the trigger! :P

To the original poster: I've read both books and yes they are worth reading. They explain how wages are determined, how workers are exploited, how the price of a commodity is determined, how profit is made etc.

They are the basic works of Marxist economics and very easy to read, so I do recommend them if you're interested in the subject.

Thanks

This differs from the reading list as ithe list is, well, a list of books to recommmend, wheras this is a short review of a book that someone specifically wants.
