Ah, did you really like it? Awesome!

Yeah, when I made it on Movie Maker on my Vista laptop the quality was way better. In terms of music it's still the same, but it's kind of hard to read at some parts.

Nonetheless, thank you!

the choice of music was excellent i couldnt fault that much.

Some actual footage would have been nice- video of a hitler speech for example whenever the word 'ENEMY' flashes over, and then some footage of the revolution whenever it moves onto the second part about communism.

Good suggestion for next video.

I tried looking up for some new images or footage of socialist/communist general "things" but wherever I go on the web and look up "communist" it gives me these images that mock Che or saying "communist party" and shows all of the "communists" partying. <_<

Can you recommend me a site where I could get some actual, authentic footage?

I wouldn't know about that, honestly. Here's an image I found on Wikipedia:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f1/Lenin.gif

But when I tried saving that it gave me a still image. :(

you could try this-

here some footage of 1917 russia. Neither of these are youtube so you might be able to download it.

Well, with the music I actually downloaded Firefox and then an audio extractor, and then went to YouTube and extracted audio from Mars, Bringer of War and then just downloaded a regular MP3 of the Soviet Internationale.

I'll try and work something out with the footage.

Thanks, dude! :D

I've been meaning to go to RedTube, but whenever I search for it I get a bunch of porno. Of course, this was already discussed on another thread.

Mind giving me the URL? :hammer:

I enjoyed your video. Well done :)
The red text on black background was too dark to read at the original brightness (VLC corrects that, so not that much a problem). I tried to adjust my monitor in the past, no luck.

Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it. :D

Yeah, there appeared to be some image problems during the uploading process. It wasn't that way when I was making it, however. Thankfully it was nothing major.

Simply amazing. Great music in the last 2/3s of the video. Added to my favorites. This will certainly make some people question the party line about communism and socialism. I'm also glad you took the time to point out the "good guys" and "bad guys" of communism as well. Insanely good job. If the new society needs a propaganda minister, we know who to look for. Keep up the good work!

Damn, man, thank you! Of all of the videos I've ever made and uploaded to YouTube (mostly just me talking about politics, not all that good, but that was on a past account), this is definitely the one that has had the most positive comments! I really appreciate it!
:D :D

By the way, I think the role of Propaganda Minister would be great except in the long run I'd probably mess it all up somehow!

Thank you, my brother! I thought before this that I was an amateur at the whole video creating process, but maybe I'm being too modest!

Lol, just kidding, but I really appreciate it. It makes my day, truly.

I liked it, well done comrade.

Not too sure about the music though, the music says to me "I am here to brain wash you"

Overall pretty good though.

I'm glad you liked it.

Brainwashing is my strategy, though. It has been a key-tactic of mine ever since I used subliminal messaging to get my mom to buy me a toy I wanted. ;)

So when can we expect your next piece of propaganda?

I've been thinking, but I'm short on ideas. And it would like kind of bad just to have one video. In an ideal world I'd have so many ideas I'd make a video once every week and say to others, "Hear, take these (ideas)! I have enough already!"
That one video I made will probably define my future ones. If you or anyone else has any suggestions feel free to tell me as I would love to have some ideas for a video(s).

Maybe you could make a few that explore common questions people have about leftist ideologies?

I just think they were both genuine revolutionaries fighting for worker's liberation while Stalin was an authoritarian figure who only posed as a communist figure. Am I wrong?

I really liked the video, it got the point across quickly and in a very well contstructed manner. There were a few times where there was a long (relatively) paragraph that went to the next frame a little too quickly to read and fully grasp...

Another thing I think you might want to work on is the wordiness. I mean, we all know what it's talking about but if your target market is people who aren't familiar with communism I think you might want to use some more easily accessable language, maybe lay off a bit on some of the Marx quotes -- a lot of my friends IRL have tried to read Marx and couldn't make heads or tails of it. Another thing I would do is that I'd include some more people that people might be familiar with when you're talking about socialists: Helen Keller, Malcolm X, you know...

Overall, I thought it was great! I liked the music, I thought it was inspirational, and something that's pretty universally appealing on a certain level. It's awesome that you're getting a lot of views and comments. Keep it up!

Ah, I am glad that you liked it!

Yes, unfortunately, some technical problems. You're right, a lot of the times a paragraph came and went to quickly, as I also realized this. A minor flaw, but I know how annoying it is to keep pushing the pause button during a video just to read shit, especially if there's good music in the background!

I didn't know Helen Keller was a socialist. I guess we all learn something everyday!

Thank you for your thoughts, as it will help me in future videos.
