The Hungarian government has apparently launched an awearness campaign, warning people that history can repeat itself, if they don't take action against the growing influence of the Nazis and the far right in Hungary. This is in responce to the growing numbers of the hungarian guards - a far right civillian movement that backs the Right candidate, and uses Hungarian Nazi insignia and flags as formal logos. The Hungarian Guards claim to have recently recieved 5000 applications to join.

Here is a news article about the Hungarian Guards recent day of action, yesterday, marking the aniversary of the hungarian revolution.

Why? The capitalist authorities won't do anything about them unless they start to affect them. Plus, Hungary ca'n't have the death penalty as there is an EU-wide ban.

What has Antifa's response to this growing threat been? Has there been a response at all? We need to nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand.

I am not aware of any responce from Antifa in Hungary.

In Switzerland there was massive rioting in responce to the introdution of Anti-immigrant laws that were last in place in Europe in the 1940s (by the Nazi government of Germany) posters were produced showing lots of sheep kicking a black sheep out* The Party that brought these laws in was the Swiss Peoples Party (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/3204412.stm)

In Poland the Nazis are essentially too strong for Antifa to manifest itself, much like Russia.

*The law said that if an immigrant commits a crime he or she can be deported. And if they are under 18 their whole family can be.

Hi!
I'm from Hungary. I think the fascist danger not as big as the government displasys it to the West. I had some trouble with skins at the past. Last summer we were drinking with my friend in a public park, and to skins came and said: you two are gay. But luckily we've talked it out, so they just get our wine...
But i think its worse in Russia, Belorussia, Ukraine.
