Women trying to gain equal rights.
I think everyone being equal works with that, so I dont see why not.
Im not completely sure though

If the question is "is Feminism the same thing as Sexism", then as far as I know, no its not.
Feminism arose because of sexism, meaning that feminism fights for the equality of sexes (because it was often the women who weren't getting equal rights it came about as 'feminism' and not 'masculinism')

Well I would guess by equality of sexes in current society would mean getting rid of the "glass ceiling" of wages and such. (To me personally it means getting a womens football team up in school) Maybe it just means that both sexes having equal opportunities in anything.
I should have probably put up the "I think" words too in my post...

This is like asking if Black Power/Black Pride is the same thing as racism. It's not.
It's simply an oppressed group of people standing up for their rights and demanding an end to inequality and discrimination.

No, those who believe women are superior to men are not feminists.

Sorry, I guess I misread what you were trying to convey from "does Feminism are the same thing as Sexism?"

Advocating gender equality is not sexism.
