We fucked the BNP

[The Feral Underclass]

Just got back from one of the best anti-fascist actions ever for numerous reasons. Firstly, because we managed to disrupt and essentially call an end to a BNP public meeting outside of Nottingham where Nick Griffin was speaking. We blockaded the gates and stopped people from getting in; the police attempted to wedge through but failed miserably. They then attempted to use another smaller gate to let people in but we scuffled with the police essentially making them block the gate. In the end the police decided it just wasn't worth trying to let people in and so stopped doing so. In the end there were about 10 people in the meeting and about 60 of us outside making lots of noise.

Secondly, the other great thing about it was there were so many people from varying groups who stood together in solidarity. Although the SWP district organiser dominated the mega-phone there were AWL, AF, SWP and animal rights activists there. Which I thought all in all was pretty cool.

There was an old lady who came to join the blockade who was local. She got pushed over by the police who suddenly looked very sheepish once they realised what they did. They generally overreacted but this was because, in my opinion, they didn't have any training to deal with this kind of thing.

It was a big victory and a job well done all round.

Before you are banned, kindly elaborate for me how you consider blacks, hispanics, etc. to be a different species from yourself? The criteria for two like beings to be considered the same species is that: a) they must be able to reproduce and b) give birth to viable young who must also be able to reproduce. I’m not urging anyone to drop action against the BNP and go after Labour, but as my relative has revealed, contingency plans are in place to ensure the BNP never gets an MP elected. You may be glad to hear this, but don’t forget, what can be done to the BNP can also be done to anyone else.

Ignore my point of view if you will, but consider this. Next time you go out to “bash the fash” don’t think for one moment that the local populace will see you as knights in shining armour saving them from the nasty Nazis. What they will see is two groups of thugs fighting each other. A sort of political equivalent of drugs turf wars. Doesn’t do you any favours but keeps alive the spectre of extremism.
Smashng the "fash" has nothing to do with popularity.

Its a tactical approach against the organizational efforts of the fascists. if they are unable to organize, they are unable to have a plataform, and therefore they become ineffective. Smashing them also entails frightening them and having second thoughts about participating in such organization.
