RevLeft Card

I just designed this, and I would like opinions and suggestions. The intention is to print it out on card and leave cards in libraries, schools, colleges etc.

I don't know about everyone else, but the only reason I found this site was via boredom and googling random shit!

There simply isn't an excuse to let people's knowledge of this site depend on chance!

And the card is a really good idea because it is an impersonal way of gaining support or interest. Often people are uncharacteristically defendent when it comes to trying to explain revolutionary politics to them.

The majority of students seem to love the famous Che image which is on all the t-shirts loads of students wear so use that specific image as it is easily identifiable by the majority of students at the very least!

It is best we catch these people young! The younger the better :lol:(Cue Paedophile arguement :lol: )

It would be kickass with the Revleft logo at the bottom (substituting the RevLeft text) and a Che watermark.

What program are you using to create this, Adobe InDesign or something?

I just did that in Word rather than a specialist program.

I usually use Word or OpenOffice Draw for most stuff I put out too. Cool what you can do with those.

Looks alright, I did a similar thing a year ago ish.

Though mine where black with red writing, leaving them on the tube and buses etc

Good idea though, I also found the site through google when I was angry at the yanks at something probably 7 years ago.

It is interesting, but in my opinion the card looks a bit plain. Perhaps add a Che picture or something that a lot of leftist types identify with to make it look more visually appealing.

Brilliant, may i suggest those that goto school print these out and maybe slip them in select books at their local library? Put one in the Communist Manifesto and Motorcycle Diaries.

Its just a template - people should probably edit it to make it look a bit better.

Yeah I agree.

Like I say, the ones I did have a red star on a black background with Revolutionary Left above the star and London Branch under the star on the other side was white with my contact details on.
