Just back from another attempted blockade at the Shell refinery site (Corrib SOS (http://www.corribsos.com) for background). Not as big as the last one unfortunately but there was a lot less time to organise this one. Nonetheless, there was a relatively decent crowd there. Not as eventful as the last blockade but there were a number of attempts to blockade constructions trucks and the roads to the refinery site. Usual heavy handed actions by the cops using a "No Arrests" policy to just beat protesters instead.
