Yeah, it wasn't bad actually. It demonstrated perfectly that socialism in a moon of a planet was impossible.

I enjoyed it. It was progressive without being simplistic. I remember having some criticisms, but I don't remember any specifics right now. I still think Le Guin is amazing though. :)

I actually found an old copy of one of the Earthsea books in a second-hand bookshop. Needless to say I couldn't resist. Don't bother with the film version though. Yuck.

Yeah, that really got my goat. Since when was Vetch white? And the only Black character was this magical archetype. Urgh.
