"Royal Mail workers have started the first of two 48-hour walkouts over pay and conditions since the suspension of strike action for talks in August."
More news on Libcom (http://libcom.org/news/postal-workers-begin-48-hour-strike-04102007) But I didn't start this thread as a news update.
Basically if you live in the UK get down to your local sorting/mail centre and act as a flying picket. Tell them that they have your full support, brign em a cup of tea/coffee or something to eat if you want.
Don't go and preach your politics at them. I've heard a lot of bad things about the revolutionary left going to pickets and forcing free leaflets and nespapers on these guys. They're not revolutionary anti-capitalists, and are probably all willing to do a deal with the boss. Of course, we should chat with them about the union Beurocracy and perhaps better ways of organising. Speak from experiance and not ideology, otherwise you sound like a nutter.
Im off there now, cya!
