I can't seem to get into debates and into politics when all i see on fucking TV is liberal shit and capitalist vs capitalist going at it. It just pisses me off that they neglect the real problems at hand. and that they are so fucking dumb and go round and around in circles beating the same dead horse when all they have to do is look at their lovely system. I find this very frustrating... thats why I can't even watch funny "liberal" TV shows. let along the fucking news.

I feel your pain. Ive just been watching on BBC the conservative party conference and how they're blaming our 'socialist labour government' for the country's social poverty problems when in fact it was the capitalist policies they spearheaded back in the 80's that caused all this shit.

how come we have no voice?

Because the people generally don't seem to care anymore, I assume. It's a fucked up world we live in and people don't seem to care. Generally speaking.

You might see that in everyday life even. If someone is being oppressed or being hurt or wounded on the streets, people just generally just go past the victim but most commonly just stand there like its a fucking entertaintment program and just watch. At least where I live (Norway).

I hate the US commercials on the Presidential debates. The Republican ones are really bad. They're so damned shallow with idiotic patriotism.

Are you complaining about the debates, or moreso about the nonsense on tv?

I don't even watch television anymore. It's all bullshit anyway. They say it's unbiased IF that were true there would not be capitalist vs. capitalist and misrepresentation of other political views. I haven't watched much TV after the last presidental election. This election is similar in many ways because it is nothing more than capitalist vs. capitalist bullshit debates. It pisses me off mostly because the campaigning is absolute bullshit and full of lies. There is no difference in platform it is all corporate views and bullshit about how fighting terrorism is necessary all this shit to scare the people into voting for them because they are convinced there will be some attack on america. It is pointless debate because no matter what way you look at it, there is no difference. and aside from that i don't watch corporate media anymore because it misrepresents the truth and there are so many things that i can think of that are absolute lies which are stated as fact.

1) the Chiapas conflict
2) the war in Iraq
3) any topic(s) regarding the USSR
4) terrorism
5) immigration
and the list goes on.

I could list a thousand topics which the american media (or any other foreign corporate media for that matter) it pisses me off.

So I am refusing to watch television, because it is all bourgeois bullshit.

Their willingness to call villify Labour, to call Labour socialist, to market themselves as being different from Labour is a shell game intended to ensure that the primary political "axis"in the UKwill be a little dot with an arrow marked "neo-liberal" pointing right to it.

As for the mainstream media lying, a few months ago I saw an article about Hugo Chavez in Maclean's that painted Chavez as a hated authoritarian tyrant and had more lies than it did paragraphs.

Talk radio in America can be divided into two groups:

1. ultra-liberal: Mike Malloy
2. neo-liberal: Everyone else
