I'm not sure where else to post this, but here goes.
Che-lives, neo-faction apparel, etc, all sell these revolutionary left items, and some of it is awesome. But my question is, is it legitimate? Is it just another capitalist venture, veiling itself with our ideology so that we fall into it and buy? Or are they genuine sites, committed to our cause, not made in sweat-shops, possibly even sponsoring leftist movements? On that note, how can I be sure, in the future, that what I'm buying is not at the expense of another human being? Spasiba.

In regards to the Che-Lives store, it only exists so that Malte has enough money to keep this forum running. Its a sort of "necessary evil".

It varies from store to store. It would be awesome to say all apparel purporting leftism was ethically made et al, but obviously the reality is far from it.
In regards to neo faction & the che store, I really don't know. If it's cafepress then it's sweatshop labour.

It only has two designs for sale, but they're pretty sweet - without immediately checking I think they're made by a womens cooperative in mexico and part of the profits go towards some charity... Some might consider that a bit too 'liberal', not directly sponsoring leftist movements... but meh

I'm fairly sure this site is just a capitalist venture with some leftish gloss, but at least in fairness the threads are union made.

You never can be sure (unless you're self-sufficient). I don't know about neo-faction but the che-store is used to keep the che-lives site and forum online. If you're looking for some guarantee that the products weren't made in sweatshops, you probably won't get it. Capitalism has permeated so much of our lives that there's really no way to escape/avoid it which is why we need to prioritize our goals and focus on ultimately destroying it in the long run.
