How was non-political crime handled in CNT/FAI lands during the Spanish civil war?
How were murders, rapes, arsons, or non-political crimes in general dealt with? Did they "arrest" people and use search warrants and detectives and all that? How did they find out "who dunnit"?
Who adjudicated trials, if there were trials? Who was the prosecutor? What legal code were people charged under, if any? What kind of punishments were carried out?
Has anybody studied documents, interviewed people who were around from back then, etc...?
Really curious.
