I've heard about V for Vendetta as a book. Any of you read it? Was it good?

Well, it's a comic, and yes it was very good. It has more reference to anarchism than in the film, and it is a lot more descriptive of back stories. I would seriously recommend it to anyone.

There's also an actual book-book.
We have a copy at my local anarchist bookstore.

For some reason I don't get on with comics. I always see still images.

Has anyone ever thought of doing an alternative V-themed bonfire night? You could make a cover for the fire out of cardboard boxes with a painting of the houses of parliament on them, then throw the king (not the Guy) on.

When the fireworks come, you can do a "V" shape! :) :)

Is that Alan Moore's script for the comic? Or a rewritten book based on the comic? If it is the latter, do you happen to know who wrote it (if not Alan Moore himself)?
