Pro War Nazies attck Father whose son died in Iraq

A counter-demonstration was held by supporters of the war. One prominent peace activist Carlos Arredondo was beaten by pro-war activists. Arredondo's son Alex died in Iraq three years ago. To honor Alex's memory, Carlos has been crisscrossing the country pulling a flag-draped coffin.

He marched with the coffin on Saturday and then left the march to return the coffin to his truck. That's when a pro-war supporter tried to rip a photo of Carlos' son from the coffin. When Carlos tried to save the photograph, he said a group of pro-war activists attacked him.

Carlos Arredondo: "I was assaulted by a group of pro-war people. They come into the ground, and they kicked me and punched me. As a citizen of this country, it’s my duty and my responsibility to participate. As a father, who I lost my son in Iraq, I got to honor my son."

They are pro-war, yet they don't go to fight. They just attack the people who do, and the families of those who do. Which shows us that at least some pro-war activists care little about lives, its all about filling up their gas-guzzlers and bringing American "democracy" to Iraq.

The supposed pro-war/pro-troop movement is an interesting anomaly. Pro-war hawks are up in arms about spreading 'democracy' to foreign countries, and feel it necessary to bark at anti-war and other protesters, but refuse to go and fight themselves. I have heard them talk that the loss of soldier lives in Iraq is ok, as long as Iraq is 'democratized'.

First....why are you mentioning bourgeoisie theater?? (the reference to the U.S. general) We true leftists don't give a shit about him or that whole storyline of his report.

Second....those people criticized the U.S. general are the democrats, we can care less what they think and they are equal to the republicans in that they're capitalist and true leftists should not be cheerleaders of the democrats (or liberal) nor should they use their slogans (which is what you did in saying, "Gernal BetrayUs").
