So I was walking down the street, and there was this party with a bunch of cars, and I was thinking "Why do people use bumper stickers?"... well to make a long story short, i decided that my new thing was going to be putting bumper stickers on cars. It is legal, mobile, and lets face it, everyone sees bumper stickers. so i'm mainly justy posting this to give others my Idea, and so people might expand on it, if there is any way to expand...
...Discuss!

Thats a great idea. Maybe even have politicalslogans on them, although linking to revelft may be a bad idea as people might complain to Malte or come here just to troll.

Here's an idea:
There's a book called Sticker Nation (I believe it's by Russ Kick but I could be wrong), full of bumper-sticker-sized stickers. Most of them have good political or philosophical slogans and the like on them. You could put them on people's bumpers, it would likely be cheaper to pick up this book than to buy a bunch of bumper stickers. However, the only place I have ever found this book is at B.O.B. headquarters (I'm in Canada), but I would be willing to bet you could order the book through a site such as Disinfo.com (http://www.disinfo.com).

Haha, funny ass idea! I never thought of throwin my tag on one of them. Funny ass shit!
As for the political sloganing... eh, I think that's pretty weak. Don't wanna force or dupe people into something like that. Really sneaky.

Thanks witnere, that in fact was my main problem, and to those who said it was forcing or duping people into opinions, i see where you're coming from, but people can just take them off. If you couldn't take them off, then it would be vandalism, and therefore illegal, and my main point with this idea was to be safe if I got caught.

Make sure you don't leave any fingerprints or anything.

Just wear latex gloves or something. That way with how tight the gloves are Rybin should still be able to do his bumper sticker thing without it being as big a hassle if he was wearing normal material gloves.

but i don't need gloves, because its ok if i leave fingerprints... it is NOT illegal. the only thing it might be is vandalism, and seeing as a sticker can be removed, thus not damaging the car, it is NOT vandalism, which is the destruction or damaging of property

Putting bumper stickers on your own car is legal, but putting them on other cars is illegal. so be safe and don't get caught.

How is it not legal? what can you be charged with?

vandalism, remember, your logic is not the same as their's

I'm not talking about who's logic is right, i'm talking about the fact that it is not vandalism UNDER U.S. LAW. the fact is, if i sprayed their car, it's vandalism, if I egged it, its vandalism, if I put a REMOVABLE sticker on it, i'm in the clear, as there is NO DAMAGE done to the car.
im just saying that there is nothing "wrong" with what i'm doing.

Well, putting a sticker on a sign is vandalism, so why would it not be if you put it on a car? I don't think that it is right, I was just telling you the law.

Latex gloves leave prints (im assuming you mean the thin latex/powder gloves). Double layers (wear two on each hand). You wouldn't believe how many people don't realise cops can take prints off medical/thin latex gloves.

Rybin here's something that might interest you. Sticker Nation (http://www.stickernation.com) makes custom stickers for what seemed to me like a pretty good price: 125 custom b&w vinyl stickers for $25 (likely USD). That way you can make your own slogans instead of spouting someone else's.

sticker tags have been around for ages, the only difference here would be makin it bigger to fit somesort of wording,
i think it may be better by makin them with bansky inspired pics

I like this idea, but it depends on what is on the sticker. I hate pointless tagging. Easy to read, simple statements such as "property is theft" etc etc, anti-car type environmentalist stickers would be quite fitting. I find alot of people use negative approaches with their propaganda. You need to give people a solution. And I don't mean by trying to turn them into leftists. Try things like suggesting public transportation, give people the facts too. Such as how much damage one car can do. Yeah?

you'll find you can buy sticker paper of different sizes at most stationary shops - provided you have access to a printer you can make your own.
a bumper sticker i always liked was 'i'm changing our climate - ask me how'
a friend back home used to get around with a bag full of 'legalise cannibalism' stickers, which used to crack me up
