Also it seems that this anti-immigrant fad is basically for white people lately (the ignorant U.S. ones). I&#39;m latino in an latino dominated area here in NYC but when I hear the few old white ladies here talking to each other in the hallways of my building.........wow. They start saying, "it&#39;s a shame how the area is turning out, my nephew lived here since he was born and now his family is moving out to the island (long island, it&#39;s where the racist white people are escaping too), it&#39;s getting crazy here. The illegals think they own the place." They also say things like, "in all the stores, all they speak is spanish, I need help, you can&#39;t get it".

The undocumented worker situation is sad on multiple fronts here in the U.S. The worst of capitalism and racism shows it faces in this situation.

I live on Longisland and its not exactly lily-white anymore either--those old ladys nephews are in for a suprise when they find just as many immigrants in the burbs and even as far out as the Hamptons :D
