Okay, so theists generally regard God as the image perfection.

My question is:

If God is assumed to be the Judge, why does he need to be so if the world is imperfect?

& if the world(or humanity) is imperfect, wouldn't that mean God is imperfect?
---
Not trying to bash on theists, though I am agnostic/humanist myself with sympathy for Islam and Christianity(ex-Christian).

God is not just an image of perfection; contained within the concept of god are both good and evil. He has been described in the old testament especially as quite a destructive force. And the fact that God is meant to encompass everything constitutes a kind of perfection - a wholistic ideal of the universe.

I don't think God is really meant to be perfect in the common sense of the word. Of course, religious people will end up saying "God is mysterious" when enough questions are asked...

I can't say for sure what people think of God, but that's the closest proximation I can describe the idea as from when I was religious.

I once had smilar line of questions.

I thought to myself; Now if God is perfect he is complete. He has nothing he lacks. How come then that he needs our servilty - that we flop on our belly in fearful reverence and praise him (as per request). For what?! For the good job of making unperfect creatures? Does this God have low self-esteem issues?! How immature of him to make people (to) grovel and prais him for a bad job!

I then ask a serious Christian;

Me; Now, God is perfect, isnt't he?

Bible-Ben; Yes

Me; So, he dosn't lack anything - he is complete.

Bible-Ben; Yes

Me; But how come then, that he needs our worship?

Bible-Ben; Eh...well, because he's God.

The best response I can come up with is God desires our love.

Why exactly? Eh, not sure.

God is a capitalist. He establishes a price for admission into heaven not because he needs the receipts, but in order to curb demand to meet available supply. Since hell is much larger (devoting their budget to volume capacity rather than occupant amenities) those who choose not to pay the price set by God still have that option available for their eternal residential needs.
