I'm thinking of making a political blog. Once I have a basis sort of post (my ideology, beliefs, a little introduction, etc.), what are good things to write about? I'm just looking for some general tips.

I'm doing it on Blogspot, btw.

Well what about Marxist view on current world events.

Venezuela would be a good topic. Bolivia is another. The middle east is a hot topic. What about an analysis of U.S. history through a Marxist lens?? Or the history of other western capitalist countries.

What about telling the world the truth about China and North Korea. I hear one too many United Statians refer to these two countries as "communist" and well we all know what's wrong with that (besides it being an oxymoron).

Come on, there are plenty of things to write about.

I got some other stuff I found that you can use.

Right now I'm in the middle of arguing with a bunch of capitalists nuts. Their responses to communism is not only ignorant (many of them claim the "communist state" will not be effective), but very greedy or ethnocentric of them.

You can take their arguments and respond to them in your blog so we younger newer communists would know answers to such stupid ideas.

There it is. Also feel free to help me and join in. I need the help, lol. But if you decide not to, take their arguments for capitalism and refute them on your blog. Post a link of your blog too.

Thats a good idea. I assume you've seen Redstar 2000's old site? He use to post a lot of his RevLeft posts on it.

Yeah, but i probably don't have a big audience for mine as he did! I think the blog and posting here, offers me a huge chance to grow. For example, I really don't know too much about certain subjects, but that doesn't mean i'm going to avoid those threads like the plague! Instead, I will read them with a critical eye, research on my own and involve myself in it!

Plus, like other people i suppose, i have various theories, ideas, etc that may conflict with each other or things i have yet to think about, and this gives me a perfect chance to sort things out.
