I had known nothing about this man until today, when I saw a link to his assassination, by a 17 year old fascist while giving a speech at a conference. He was the head of the (former)JSP as well. Wikipedia has almost no information about him or beliefs and I'm looking for a little more insight into what he did for Japanese workers and his party. Can anyone post more info about him or point me into the right direction? Thanks!

This video was spreading online yesterday. I also found no info on him. Anyone know anything AND anyone got a translation of the video of what they were saying and if anyone has any other info, please do post.
