I was browsing around the site of the Socialist Labor Party of America (http://www.slp.org), and I was reading into the De Leonist theory of "Socialist Industrial Unionism".

http://slp.org/SIUism.htm

It is basically the theory of a country run by unions. The unions elect immediate representatives, and national representatives, which are subject to recall at any time by the working class.

The only problem I see is that this is representative government. Representative "democracy" isn't working now, what will make it work in this case?

Your thoughts?
