Any Words on Schizophrenia or Mental Illness?

I was woundering if any one knew any Comm. (of any kind) on treatment of Mentally Ill or schizophrenics in any Comm. countrys or policy????-
I knew some (ex) F.M.L.N and F.S.L.N and Zapatiztas and they had no idea and nothing to say on the topic!!

You would have to expound on "mentally ill" as treatments differ depending on the disease.

There are prescription anti-psychotics that normalise neurotransmitter levels within the brain effectively correcting schizophrenia. these drugs are quite expensive and often have long term side affects. There is extensive information on the internet if you require anything else regarding tis matter.

Unless you are Hitler and kill all those with it so the gene doesn't spread. It will always be there.

Most of these "mental illnesses" are not bad at all. Schizophrenics generally think much better than "normal" people do. We can go to one of the most famous schizophrenic of time, John Nash. His schizophrenia helped him think, helped him finish is theory, he just need to be watched or he'd kill all of the commie spies ;). Ever seen "I am Sam". Very good movie, the guy has a mental disorder, but is more in tune with the world than anybody else.

You see, the "normals" are the ones with the mental disorder. Neurosis, we all have it, it is what makes us want to look good in other people's eyes. What keeps us trapped in this reality, unable to see tommorow. Those "insane" have broken free of that, and therefore, are not one of us, and must be looked down upon.

And could we get some help from the local psychiatrist?

Not all mentall illnesses are natural or genetic.

Like I think what IS was trying to say is that alot of the mental illnesses, or so-called mental illnesses are environmental. And likely would not be there in a socialist society.

I think the only way to get rid of mental illnesses would be to turn everybody into sheep. Think exactly the same, differences are what causes it. And they aren't that bad. And I still don't get what you mean by "enviromental", and don't see how socialism can "cure" "mental illnesses".

Another thing is that alot of politicly minded people in the Third World, either have never known people with mentall Illness, confusing them with drugies, or the fact mentalli Ill people userlly don't function into society (with or without medication - not all but... ), and due to this type of Ignorance have never had contact with those people.....
P.S i suffer from schizophrenia, The voices and 'Illusions' are real...

I think nutrition is a major factor. Any mental or physical illness is a lack of some kind of nutrition. I know cod liver, coconut oil, as well as nutritional yeast, are key for schizophrenia. Many of us here in the US have acute schizophrenia or some other type of 'illness' the health industry labels us as. It comes down to what our bodies are telling us what they need. (now if we could only figure out what they wanted.) There's all this dead food (basically everything is destroyed in it) and we eat it without really getting what we need.
