Who is that fat git? I hear from the back :D
I started getting into my politics in primary school when the cruise missilews were arriving at Greenham common. Then I gradually got more and more aware of the shit that was going on, this was the Thatcher years after all. gradually became more radical and eventually arrived at being an anarchist inclined to the anarcho-syndicalism/anarcho-communism, never sure which :)
When I was 17 I was involved in setting up Direct Youth a campaign group concerned with youth rights run by young adults, primarily concerned with housing and benefits. We appeared on the advice shop and afew other current affairs programmes both radio and television. The group imploded eventually mainly due to the excessive drink and drug use oif it's members myself included :( but we did manage to have some of our more sobre members sitting on council committes.
I descended into a haze of drink and drug use for a few years sobered up got married went to uni. did politics for a year and a half and then dropped out for several reasons, worked foir a few years marriage broke down, and now I'm on the long term sick.
Over the last few years I've got into online games due to my health I don't get out much so it fills the time.
Musicly my tastes are deciededly predictable, Punk [mainly 80s British anarcho punk] Ska & 80s indy are me faves, but anythingf that doesn't stink of corporate music is ok.
