A friend of mine talked about this documentary, and it just sounded like a total conspiracy theory on how the US government planned 9/11, and that Bush rigged the votes via satallite. The documentary also deals with how the Federal Reserve isn't really a reserve and controlled by corporations, ect. I read on wikipedia that alot of the quotes in this movie by Clinton, Woodrow Wilson are taken out of context, and it uses the ellusive quote of Mussolini " Fascism should really be called corporatism..." -- ellusive, because no one can really find the source of this quote.

I haven't seen this documentary yet, but it strikes me as a movie to make money, or a career move for Aaron Russo-- who was once a manager for Bette Midler, and booked the first US Led Zeppelin gig, he has also had troubles with launching a political career.

What do you think?

Previous thread on the film (http://www.revleft.com/index.php?showtopic=56107&hl=+freedom++fascism)

Though there were some references to the US becoming more of a police state, the main portion of the film was focused around the income tax issue than anything else.

Usually, this kind of "criticism" of the Federal Reserve is a coded way to express anti-semitism without openly referring to Jews.
